It is my FAVORITE time of year!!! I LOVE Halloween and Fall!!! Yesterday Sam and I decorated the front of the house with lights and other spooky things. As soon as the calender turns to October it is our tradition to get out the Halloween stuff and decorate the front yard. In years past she would get so excited and ask each day when it was going to be October 1st. This year I have to say she helped a little and then wanted to do other things. It made me a little sad. :( She is growing up WAY to fast!! Not to grown up for trick-or treating though. She was off today with her Mom to get her costume. It looks like she is going to be Hannah Montana this year, though I have convinced her to dress up as Sarah Palin for her Girl Scout party. :) We are going to go to the thrift store tomorrow to put together an outfit. I will post pics.
Speaking of Mrs. Palin, did you all see the debate??? I have to say even though I disagree with most everything she says, she did a decent job. Her answers did seem very rehearsed but with all the pressure she has been under she did not bomb. Can't wait to see Saturday Night Live tonight!! Nathan and I were texting back and forth during the debate and I told him if she said "Maverick", "joe six-pack", or gave another wink I was going to scream. LOL
One positive thing I can say for this election is it has gotten everyone to talk about politics, even Samantha and her friends. When she mentioned to one of her friends that her auntie wanted her to dress up as Sarah Palin, her friend said, "She is stupid!! All she says is, "I can see Russia from my house." How funny is that!!! I can't wait to see the outcome come November, whatever it is it will be historic!!!! Don't forget if you need to register to vote the deadline is almost passed!!!
