Great Times!

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We had dinner at Nathan's, it was a small group this year,my Mom, Dad, Grandma, Nathan and myself. This year was the first Thanksgiving since my Grandpa passed away so it was a little sad. I could tell my Grandma was struggling to get through the day. But we got her through it with a fabulous dinner and good family time together. We ended the night with all of us watching one of our favorite Christmas movies, Scrooge. It put everyone in the Holiday mood.

Friday I was going to get up at 5 and go to Walmart but decided nothing is worth fighting the crowds. :) So my Mom and I got up around 9 and hit the stores. They were EXTREMELY crowded but we found some great deals.

Then Sunday it was Samantha's 9th birthday. Every year we go to the city to Sam's favorite restaurant, Rainforrest Cafe. Then we always walk down to Pier 39 and see the Christmas tree. As every year it was a great time. The weather was perfect and the city looked beautiful all decorated for Christmas.

Next weekend Samantha is going to have a Spongebob slumber party for her birthday. Fun for me. LOL All of a sudden she is in LOVE with Spongebob. Anything and everything with Spongebob on it, she wants it. Go figure.

I'm looking forward to getting out the Christmas decorations this week and putting them up. Hopefully after I get through Sam's birthday party I can get to some holiday baking and cardmaking.

Below are some pics from this Thanksgiving weekend. Enjoy.....!
