We're baaaaaaack!

After a wonderful week of family camp we are home. The week was so amazing that we did NOT want to leave! Friday night Nathan barbecued his famous ribs and we had my aunt, uncle and cousin up to our cabin for dinner. After discussing how fast the week passed we all decided that we should try to come up for two weeks possibly next year.
After the barbecue we all went down for the camp's "party on the mall." Every year at the week's end the camp hosts a end of the week party by having a snow cone booth, cotton candy booth, ice cream and music all in the main mall area. There are white lights all around and a movie with video from all the week's activities is shown. The kids love it and lets just say they leave on a sugar high. LOL
All in all this without a doubt was my favorite week ever at Mt. Hermon! Everyone in our family had such a good time. This year my aunt Lois' family rented a cabin and really enjoyed it. My cousin David spent many late nights up at our cabin challenging Nathan on the Wii! We won't say who won, we'll just say it was entertaining. Samantha had her best friend there this week and on Friday they had a play date at our cabin. While Samantha loved spending time with the family she really wanted to hang out with friends more this year. It just hit me how fast she is growing up! Nathan was able to stay the whole week which really meant a lot to Samantha as well as my Dad and I. I got to scrapbook all week on a huge dining room table that looked out over the redwood mountains. Can't get much better that! Everyone had a fabulous time.
It is nice to be home but we will all be counting the days till next years camp!!!!
