She has hit the stage where her and I don't see eye to eye on what is appropriate school attire. :) After the second hour and the third store I gave up and tried to remember how I felt as a kid shopping with my parents, everything they would pick out for me I hated. LOL So unless it was totally inappropriate I let her get what she wanted. She is going to put a fashion show on for everyone tomorrow, so I will post pictures later.
After that super fun adventure we were off to the Silliman Center for a Girl Scout outing. They swam for four hours and still did not want to leave. They all had such a blast! Below are some pictures for the outing.
So after shopping for at least 4 hours and then swimming for another four hours what does a person who is insane do...... let their niece have a sleepover with her friends. :) Samantha had two of her best friends, Paige and Megan, spend the night up at her dad's house, I was the chaperon. How fun for me!!!! We got home at 10pm and then they HAD to watch the new Cheetah Girl Movie that was premiered last night. The consensus was that it SUCKED!!! LOL After that I told them it was bed time or at least go to your room and lay down time. I think around 3am the her room fell quiet. Then promptly at 8:30am I was awaken to the lovely sound of drums beating. Nathan has a drum set and microphone downstairs so of course the girls had to perform bright and early!
All in all it was a busy day and after dropping both girls home and getting Sam off for her visit with her mom, I am off for a nap.......
